In Jinguashi, the stairs and paths turned the uninhabited mountains into villages, joining us and the mountains, step by step. People came to Jinguashi for the vast copper and gold reserves hidden underground, which led to a gold rush in the 1940s. After the recession of the mining industry, people gradually left the village to find other places to develop. Today, people come back to this semi-abandoned village, following the ancient stairs to relive the memories of Jinguashi, and reminisce on the glory days. The larger cone narrows to a golden point, and the smaller cone sits delicately on top. The two-sided cone form symbolizes a circular creative process—designers discovering materials obscured in the land, and transforming them into a new worldview. This worldview becomes the foundation for future generations. The production of the trophy is assisted by Stone &amp; Resource industry R&amp;D Center. The black and white millstone is made with offcuts from a stone quarry. Shikaiでは、国内外の文化を跨ぐ視点から、台湾ではよく目にするが、外国人が見てもすぐには理解できないかもしれない様々な金物日用品を精選し、文化の紹介のために各商品を新たにパッケージし直し、台湾人の歴史、生活、信仰の独自性を強調させている。選ばれた物には、おみくじ用の三日月形の木、祭祀用の香立て、小さなビンロウ用ナイフ、台湾の茶道具、そして頭がすっきりする万金油などが含まれ、これらは外国人にとって非常にユニークであるが台湾では日常的な品物で、まさに台湾文化の真髄がここにある。「台丸咪呀 - Taiwan Omiyage」是一個實驗性的選物品牌，設計事務所 Studio Shikai We have teamed up with Studio Shikai to reinterpret the classic dispenser: the equally hefty marble replaces iron to create a new visual texture, while its wire frame references its original industrial look. Based on initial research by branding team VOCUIS on competitive product analysis, Thai dietary culture, brand positioning, and target customer profiles—Studio Shikai carefully studied traditional Thai tableware and dishes, and designed the Thai enamel kitchenware series for Aroya. The Thai enamel kitchenware series includes a pot, steam pot, one-handed pot, dinner plate, soup bowl, sauce dish, fish plate, salad plate, fry plate, and condiment set. Retaining elements of traditional Thai ware in its soft rounded curves, we created a basic Thai kitchenware series that fuses Thai cooking traditions with the contemporary Thai lifestyle. The process of making this project includes both tradition glass craft skills and modern production engineering of the moving parts. The designers realised that the beauty of glass lies in the uneven surface resulted from the traditional mouth-blowing process.
